Knowledgeable Leader

A Community advocate, Nonprofit leader & Steward of opportunity for all.

Joseph M. Alston believes every person — no matter their zip code or background — deserves dignity, access, and opportunity. As a longtime resident and leader in High Point, Joseph has spent his career helping families build economic stability, supporting youth success, and strengthening community partnerships across Guilford County.

For over three decades Joseph has served in key roles focused on strengthening families and economic mobility, expanding opportunity through access to trade training and development programming, and building stronger communities by meeting the needs of the underserved population. When faced with tough challenges or hard conversations, â€‹he has never stopped doing the work that makes communities better, together.

As a husband, father and non profit programming leader, and community advocate for equality and fairness, I understand the real challenges families face: from healthcare costs to financial insecurity. That’s why I'm focused on helping others gain the tools to build wealth, stability, and legacy.
